These Terms of Service govern your use of ScanMyWordPress. By creating an account or using our service, you agree to these terms.
ScanMyWordPress is a WordPress security scanning service. We scan your WordPress plugin, theme, and core versions against a vulnerability database and notify you when vulnerabilities are detected.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You may use ScanMyWordPress only for WordPress sites you own or manage with explicit permission. You may not use the service to scan sites without authorization. You may not attempt to circumvent plan limits, reverse-engineer the service, or use the service in any way that violates applicable laws.
Free plan features are provided at no charge. Pro plan is billed monthly or yearly as selected. Lifetime plan is a one-time payment. All payments are processed by Stripe. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing page.
We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts the service. We will communicate planned maintenance in advance where possible.
ScanMyWordPress provides vulnerability detection based on publicly available vulnerability data. We do not guarantee that our scans will detect every vulnerability or prevent every attack. We are not liable for any damages resulting from security incidents on your sites. The service is provided as a tool to assist with security monitoring, not as a security guarantee.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the account settings page.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
